Algebra

Algebra is essential to succeed at a challenging high school, and it keeps you on track for calculus before college.

If your school does not offer Algebra 1: Take this class and we'll prepare you for the Regents exam. We will help you find a way to take the Regents in 8th grade.
If your school does offer Algebra 1: This class can help you to understand the material better and to do more challenging problems. Really understanding Algebra 1 well is important for your later classes.

Taking this class requires homework and serious time spent learning the math. We're going to do a whole year's worth of school in half a year, so you have to be serious about getting it done!

Everyone who participates in Algebra 1 will get a free Art of Problem Solving Algebra book and solutions manual.

When? Every Saturday 12:30-2:30pm, starting December 10 (no classes Dec 24, Dec 31, Jan 14). The last class is June 10, 2017.
